Thirsty-Mate 318P1 Pump Ideal for Kayaks, Canoes
While not a new product, Beckson Marine’s Genuine Thirsty-Mate 318P1 Sea Kayak Pump is worth noting as a great device for removing water quickly from the inside of a kayak or canoe. It’s equally useful for small skiffs and dinghies.
The rugged, compact pump incorporates a reinforced shaft that will not flex in rolling waters, and will not interfere with compass use. Constructed of non-corroding polyvinyl, the pump measures 18″ long by 1 3/4″ in diameter, and will pump up to 8 gallons of water per minute.
Optional red or yellow float sleeve are available to keep the pump afloat if dropped overboard.
