Winnipesaukee Speed Limit Bill Fails

A bill that would have allowed boats to travel at a higher rate of speed in the middle, or “Broads” section of New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee failed to pass a House vote on May 19.
If passed, the speed limit would have been increased from 45 to 55 mph during the day.
