Wendy Lull, president of Seacoast Science Center, will discuss how the life and death of one young whale is used to interpret the ecology of the whale population in the Gulf of Maine, of which there are more than 40 species.
She will also speak about the challenges of transforming the story of the whale’s premature death into an engaging and inspiring learning experience.
