Westport River, MA, Kayak Trip This Weekend

The Trustees of Reservations is offering a kayak trip on Massachusetts’ Westport River East Branch on Saturday, October 8.
The trip begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at noon. Participants will paddle down the East Branch and a get water view of some of the properties the Trustees have been working to preserve, including the Westport Town Farm. They’ll also be shown why protecting farmland and open space along this river is a major conservation priority.
The trip will begin at the Westport Town Farm, 830 Drift Road. Cost is $30 for Trustees members; $40 nonmembers.
