Westport, CT, Chowdafest Draws a Crowd

TheHour.com: Thousands of chowdaheads crowded the cafeteria at Bedford Middle School [in Westport] to slurp samples of chowders, soups and bisques Saturday [February 4] for the 4th annual Chowdafest, an event that raises funds for the Connecticut Food Bank.
Cars packed the parking spaces at the school and lined the driveway that leads to the sports fields, as a hungry crowd amassed to fill their stomachs and support an organization that fills the stomachs of the impoverished.
