Wells Harbor, ME, Dredging Underway
According to WLBZ2, the Army Corps of Engineers is currently removing some 20,000 cubic yards of sand from the entrance channel to Wells Harbor, Maine.
The Corps vessel U.S.S. Currituck is removing sand and depositing it near the shore of Wells Beach. The dredging should be completed by Thursday, May 24.
