Sakonnet Lighthouse Repair Ends

EastBayRI.com: A crew of 9 men, a tug, barge, crane, and an accommodating ocean all collaborated Sunday to help clear Little Cormorant Rock of all traces of equipment used to restore the Sakonnet Lighthouse.
While actual restoration work on the 66’ tall caisson lighthouse had ended about 2 months ago, a 3-story platform and equipment remained. Calm seas were needed for a barge and crane to pick the stuff off and it was a long wait.
