RI’s Edgewood Yacht Club Set to Rebuild After Fire

Cranston Herald: One year ago Thursday, the iconic Edgewood Yacht Club burned down (read the story here ) in an early-morning blaze, as snow blanketed the docks. But as yacht club members reflect on the disaster and the outpouring of community support that followed, they are confident that 2012 will be a big year for the EYC, and potentially a year that sees the construction of a new home for local sailors.
