Portsmouth, NH, Officials Take on Wastewater Plan

SeacoastOnline: The [Portsmouth] City Council on Monday night took part in the first of several expected work sessions regarding the city’s ongoing wastewater treatment efforts.
Joining councilors at City Hall was city staff, in addition to a handful of residents.
Mayor Eric Spear said the work sessions should keep the council and residents apprised of what the city is doing to meet the framework of a consent decree with federal regulators. Spear said he hopes to hold one session every 6 to 8 weeks.
