Newport Save The Bay Aquarium to Install Shark Tank
Save The Bay’s Exploration Center & Aquarium at Easton’s Beach in Newport, Rhode Island, will soon be home to 3 species of sharks: chain dogfish, smooth dogfish and little skates. A 400-gallon touch tank is currently under construction.
The shark exhibit is expected to open in late April.
The Aquarium is open daily during April school vacation (Saturday, April 14 – Sunday, April 22). There are 14 interactive exhibits and more than 150 species on display.
Admission:
- Free for Save The Bay Family Members
- Non-members: $6
Seal Watch Tours are also running during school vacation. The seal season ends on April 22.
