Newport, RI: Team Emirates New Zealand Capsizes at Wing Mark
Dan Vullemier of MacDougalls’ Cape Cod Marine Services (a BoatingLocal sponsor) sent us this sequence of photographs from Newport during the America’s Cup World Series.
During team racing in the 1st day of the ACWS, Emirates Team New Zealand capsized as the crew set the kite a bit too early. The boat drifted nearly all the way to the Newport bridge before she was righted.
