MA Kicks in $10K for Cape Cod Canal Celebration

CapeCodOnline: The towns that line the Cape Cod Canal will soon be celebrating the waterway’s 100th birthday, and they’ve received a boost from the state’s tourism office.
The Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism recently awarded the Cape Cod Canal Centennial Committee $10,000 for website enhancement, public relations, print materials and video productions to support the July 2014 celebration, according to a press release from state Senate President Therese Murray’s office.
