The New England Lyman Group (NELG) is celebrating its 12th anniversary this year during a 2-day gathering on June 3 and 4. This year’s Lyman gathering includes a trek to Lake Sunapee on Thursday and to Lake Wentworth on Friday, with the boat show at the Wolfeboro town docks on Saturday.
NELG was founded in 1999 by a small group of Lyman owners who were gathered at the ACBS boat show at the Weirs on Lake Winnipesaukee. They decided to create a Lyman forum to gather information and learn about the boats and the history of Lyman boats. They also contribute to the NH Boat Museum and provide scholarships for the summer boatbuilding school.
