LI Soundkeeper Honored as River Hero
Long Island Soundkeeer and Soundkeeper founder Terry Backer has been named a “River Hero” by the River Network, a national organization of river activists and conservationists.
Now in its 10th year, the River Hero Award seeks to honor individuals who have made substantial and inspirational contributions to the river conservation community.
