Kite Sailor Rescued from Long Island Sound
Norwalk Patch: Police rescued a kite sailor from Long Island Sound Tuesday afternoon after a control line to his kite snapped, and his right foot became tangled in lines that attached the kite to the board.
The man was one of three men kite sailing together off Calf Pasture Beach Park in East Norwalk when the incident occurred.
He declined to provide his name, but a news photographer who had been shooting photos of the three kite sailing earlier in the day said he identified himself then as Charlie Simonds of Fairfield.
