Kids Kayak Courses Offered in New Haven, CT

The New Haven Register reports that the city’s Parks and Recreation Department will be holding a 3-week Kids Kayak Instruction program from 10:00 a.m. to noon, August 16, 23 and 30, for 8- to 11-year-olds and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. for 12- to 14-year-olds out at Lighthouse Point Park, 2 Lighthouse Road. Participants will learn seamanship and safety skills.
Cost:
- $150 for residents
- $200 for nonresidents.
