Kayaker Rescued from Gould Island, RI

The Providence Journal reports that members of the Middletown Fire Department rescued a kayaker who was stranded on Gould Island in lower Narragansett Bay when high winds prevented him from returning to the mainland.
The event took place Saturday afternoon.
