IYRS Announces Marine Career Day Date

The 6th Annual IYRS Marine Industry Career Day will be held on Saturday, March 5 in Newport, Rhode Island. The event is designed to give individuals interested in marine careers a valuable chance to learn about career opportunities and green jobs that are emerging in the field.
During the 1-day event, which is free and open to the public, Career Day attendees will be able to meet with regional marine employers, including boatbuilders, boatyards, and marine manufacturers; learn about the skills needed to work in the boating business and the training programs where they can gain those in-demand skills; and attend informative seminars on finding employment opportunities in the marine trades and funding for training programs.
