Indiana Oak Trees to be Used in USS Constitution Repair

Cape Cod Online: Trees growing at the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center in southwestern Indiana will one day be part of the world’s oldest commissioned warship.
Representatives from the Boston Navy Yard were at the center recently looking at white oak trees growing on the 63,000-acre base in preparation for use to repair the USS Constitution, also known as “Old Ironsides.”
