Greenwich Time is reporting that the Greenwich Board of Selectmen voted to maintain the town’s existing mooring fee of $100 per season for boaters who moor their vessels in waters off Greenwich. Boaters who keep their boats in marina slips or town-owned docks are exempt from paying the fee.
The money collected from the fees is used to support the harbormaster’s office and fund dredging work, which the harbormaster says is urgently needed.
