Cost Guard Terminates Fishing Trip in Cape Cod Bay
Coast Guard boarding team members terminated the voyage of the fishing vessel Bank Tank in Cape Cod Bay on Sunday, August 5.
A Coast Guard Cutter Tybee law-enforcement team conducted a routine boarding on the Bank Tank and discovered the vessel did not have enough immersion suits aboard. There were 5 crewmembers aboard with only 4 immersion suits. Each crewmember is required by law to have an immersion suit.
The Tybee crew escorted the Bank Tank to its homeport in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
