CapeCodOnline: Authorities in Chatham, Massachusetts, have advised boaters and beachgoers to keep at least 300’ away from any seals.

The advisory comes days after a 12’ to 15’ great white shark was spotted Thursday in the surf zone near the southern tip of North Beach Island.

No beaches have been closed in Chatham, Dan Tobin, director of parks and recreation said.
