The West Barnstablets woman volunteered minutes earlier to team up with me, a novice. It was just her third time kayaking, all this summer.
“I love it,” Pokrass said, with obvious enthusiasm. “I want to keep doing it.”
On a recent day tailor-made for a scenic trip, a dozen or so eager kayakers took a three-hour tour sponsored by the Massachusetts Audubon Society’s Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary.
