Block Island Times: Despite a favorable Coastal Resources Management Council decision in the Champlin’s Marina expansion application, the Town Council voted to appeal a portion of that decision at its May 18 meeting.

A specific provision in the recently released written decision creates a 300-foot channel around all the marinas in New Harbor and would force the town to completely redesign its mooring fields and possibly lose some of its lucrative moorings.
