3 Rescued from Penfield Reef
Minuteman News Center reports that 3 teenagers were rescued on Tuesday, May 29, by the Fairfield, Connecticut, fire and police departments after becoming stranded on Penfield Reef by the rising tide.
According to the article, the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center received a call from a Good Samaritan at the base of Penfield Reef reporting that the teens were in trouble.
The 3 teens were eventually removed from the reef and transported to shore. No injuries were reported.
