2012 Scantic River, CT, Canoe/Kayak Race Set for Tomorrow

Reminder News: People from throughout the area are preparing for the oldest continuous race in Enfield, the 21st annual Scantic Spring Splash. The canoe and kayak race will be held on Saturday, March 31, with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m.
“We hope to see about 200 paddlers and 155 boats this year, but that number all depends on the weather,” said Michael Dynia, creator and coordinator of the event. “Hopefully the weather stays nice so we can have a nice turnout from the paddlers and the crowd.”
