2012 Rochester, MA, Canoe Race This Monday

The 2012 annual Rochester Memorial Day Canoe Race will take place this Monday (Memorial Day) in the towns of Rochester and Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. The race begins at 8:00 a.m. at Grandma Hartley’s Pond in Rochester and continues for 11 miles along the meandering Mattapoisett River before ending at the Herring Weir at the junction of Route 6 in Mattapoisett, where crowds gather for the post-race celebration.
