2012 Hull, MA, Snow Row a Success
Patriot Ledger: It was a blustery, snowy start and a calmer, sunny finish Saturday for the 33rd annual Snow Row, sponsored by the Hull Lifesaving Museum.
Both were a thrill for 2 rowing teams from Belfast, Maine, who had been practicing for the race for the past year. The 6-member men’s team in the Belle Fast was first to cross the finish line in its Pilot Gig category on the 3-mile course, in just over 34 minutes. It was soon followed by the Belfast women’s Pilot Gig team in the Selkie, clocking less than 40 minutes for the course.
