Dock Talk: Cape Cod Canal & Bay Report: 6.27.12
Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle sends this report for June 27, 2012:
The Cape Cod Canal is loaded again with mackerel. The best bite has been around late evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The fish are really hitting topwater lures, especially anything blue or green. I have been using the Super Strike Little Neck Popper in green.

Cape Cod Bay is also loaded with bass, from Billingsgate Shoal to the Fingers. Use a tube-and-worm and slowly troll it at 1.5 to 2 knots. A good tube to use is the Zing Tackle Tube in red.

The tuna bite has been on fire. A lot of big tuna are being caught on Stellwagen Bank on Ocean Lures.
