What a holiday week! Perfect weather and the fishing just keeps getting better.
The chunk bite off the Vineyard has really picked up in the last few days. Lots of blues and big bass are being caught on fresh pogies. Captain Kevin Malone of Diablo Sport fishing wrangled a 45-pound bass this week on a fresh pogy chunk.
Big fluke and sea bass are being caught off Lucas Shoal. Try the deeper areas for big doormats and humphead sea bass. We still have a large stock of fresh local squid, so come on in and get some of the best fluke and sea bass bait available.
