Cape Cod Report: Keepers on Chunks off Falmouth

Chris Parisi of Bad Fish Outfitters reports on a couple of nice fish caught last week (April 27) from the beach in Falmouth on fresh menhaden chunks.
“There are a few schools of pogies around, and the bait is thick enough to snag with a weighted treble,” Chris says. “These were the biggest fish, but we caught just as many fish on River2Sea shads and small Finnish-style swimming plugs. Incoming tide is best this time of the year.”
