Canal Sees Bait; Blues off South Cape
Jeff Miller of Canal Bait & Tackle in Sagamore, Massachusetts, reports that a lot of bait has entered the Cape Cod Canal in recent days. The river herring are just starting to show up at the Canal run, although no word yet of any bass on their heels.
Miller also reports that small bluefish in the 3- to 6-pound range are being taken off the South Cape beaches, from Shore Road in Falmouth to South Cape Beach.
