Canal Bait & Tackle in Sagamore, Massachusetts, has announced that it will hold a Labor Day bass and bluefish tournament from August 31 to September 9, 2012.

Boat registration is $50

Grand prizes include:

• 1st Place: $1,000
• 2nd Place: $300
• 3rd Place $200

Tournament Dates & Times:

• Starts: August 31, 12:00 a.m.
• Ends: September 9, 5:00 PM

Tournament Rules:

• Fish can be caught and weighed by any person that is on the registered boat.
• To weigh in a fish, you must be registered 24 hours before the weigh-in.
• The heaviest combined weight between striped bass and bluefish wins.
• Each boat must weigh in a bass and a bluefish to win.
• All fish must be weighed in at Canal Bait & Tackle.
• There are no age restrictions or Junior Division.
• All fish during weigh-in will be marked, so no fish will be weighed twice.
• There are no refunds after application and entry fee are collected.
• All fish must be caught by rod and reel, and with a hook.
• All fish must be caught in Massachusetts to be eligible.
• You may enter the tournament at any time.
• You may weigh in only 1 striped bass and 1 bluefish per day.
• No boat can win 2 grand prizes.
