Mikie with a nice fat 30 lber to start off the morning!!

Bill & Jules Boston Saltwater Fishing reports on action in the harbor for August 7, 2012.

Was a great day on the water!

We had a blast today (August 7) on the water. Did a Shared trip with Nick, his grandson Mikie, and Jim, who has been fishing with us for a very long time. Enjoyed a breathtaking sunrise on the run out then went looking for some big bait—and found a ton of it. Gotta love pogies, especially since they mean big striped bass.

We hammered the fish, inlcuding some really nice ones. Smallest striper was 18 pounds, one around 22 pounds and the rest got a lot bigger. The largest was 35 pounds.

New Gorilla cart works awesome.

Mikie was high hook for the day, and he show a lot of emotion when he is fishing. LOL! Shown is a photo of Mikie with the biggest fish of the day.

If you would like to get out and catch ‘em up, give us a call and we’ll get you out there. In the meantime, stay tuned for more posts on the action in the harbor, and we’ll be posting more shared-trip openings on our website and via email. We also have some great weekday and weekend dates available for private charters as well.
