Boston Harbor Report: 7.4.12
Bill & Jules Boston Sportfishing reports on the action in and around Boston Harbor last week:
The fishing in Boston Harbor is getting better by the day! The amount of bait here right now is just crazy, and there are some nice fish moving in. Sounds like Cape Cod Bay is quieting down, which means more bait and fish heading toward the nice, cool water of Boston Harbor.
We’ve been out 5 days in a row and had some good bites and some so-so fishing. But when it has been on it has been pretty good. We have been getting some nice bass in the mid-20-pound range, as well as a lot of fish in the 28” to 35” range.
Also, some huge chopper bluefish have moved in—12 pounds and up!
Tuna fishing has been on the quiet side, but the bluefin are definitely traveling along Stellwagen Bank.
