Bad Fish Outfitters Report & Sale Item: 6.20.12
Chris Parisi and Co. from Bad Fish Outfitters in Falmouth, Massachusetts, offer up the following report for 6.20.12.
Warm weather and sunshine and subtle winds will prevail through this weekend making it the perfect time to enjoy the great fishing here on Cape.
On Tuesday I was privileged enough to be invited by the Shimano Corporation for a day of fishing aboard the Helen H. Also onboard were the staffs of some of other great tackle shops in New England. The trip gave us a chance to try out some of the new gear Shimano will be introducing throughout the year. We tested it on some monster sea bass and doormat fluke that Captain Bob was able to put us on. Fluke to 9 pounds and sea bass to 6 pounds were the best catches of the day. There was plenty of action on Lucanus Jigs and fluke rigs with squid teasers and spinners.
Quick’s Hole sounds like the striper hot spot lately, with live scup and wire-line jigging taking the majority of the bass.
If the weed has finally cleared out of Middle Ground you may want to take a peek at the rip and try a squid or sand eel imitation, as there is still plenty of both baits in the sound.
This week’s sale is our line of YUM freshwater baits. Enjoy 10% off YUM purchases over $25 and 15% off YUM purchases over $50.
