The early season was strategically chosen for this event, as it is a highly productive time for Cape Cod bluefin tuna fishing. What’s also nice about this early season bluefin fishery is that it’s very close to shore—sometimes within a mile off the beach! Good numbers of tuna have already been reported, and the weather is looking good.

Tuna Fest also offers an exciting format of rules, which allows for many different fishing strategies. The event is based on how many fish a boat can catch. There will also be biggest fish calcuttas.
