Sea Tow Answers Membership FAQs

The following are some frequently asked questions sent to Sea Tow by its customers, with answers provided by Sea Tow:
Q: James Scharber from Brooksville, Florida, has a membership for his flats boat. He wrote to ask: If I’m on a boat that I’m part owner of, and I need Sea Tow, can I use it?
A: Yes. Your Sea Tow membership covers every boat you own. Just as with your flats boat, we’ll need proof of ownership (your name on the boat’s registration) before adding it to your membership. All qualifying boats and PWCs you own are covered by your membership privileges; call our 24-hour Customer Service Center at (800-473-2869) or e-mail info@seatow.com to make changes to your account._
Q: If I’m on a friend’s boat and need to use Sea Tow, can I?
A: Your membership covers the boats you own and any boat that you charter, rent, lease or borrow. It does not provide membership services if you are a guest on a friend’s boat. It is the boat owner’s responsibility to maintain his/her own Sea Tow membership. If you are out on the boat together and the unexpected happens, your friend can still call Sea Tow, but there will be a charge for the services._Don’t forget that you can earn $25 for each new member you refer to Sea Tow. Tell your friend to join referencing your member number and, if he does, we will send you a coupon for $25 off your next membership renewal. There are no limits to the number of $25 coupons you can earn each year.
